attention photographers :: repost of family picture idea

I put this up on my personal blog, but in case I have followers here that aren't there, I thought I would repost for you all to see too!

I have a thought.  I am a photographer.  I know many photographers.  The common thread I find is, as photographers, we have MASSIVE amounts of pictures of our little ones and our spouse.  However, I have yet to find a MASSIVE amount of pictures I am in (partially because i don't like to be in pictures). I want to get nice family photos, however I don't want to pay for something I can do myself!  

I think I found the solution.  What about a photographer's meet up and exchange?  Like if we all meet up - take pictures of each family, have a shared Flickr account where we can all upload our edited images and then make them all available for downloading?  In addition, we can upload all the copyrighted ones too for Facebook advertising and whatnot.

What do you say?  Good idea or not?  Win-Win in my book!  Select number of photographers obviously and by "invite-only"?
